Mike Collier and Steven Kling to hold two events on Saturday
This Saturday, June 30, Democratic Lt. Governor Nominee Mike Collier, will join Steven Kling, nominee for Texas Senate (District 25), at a Town Hall in Wimberley to discuss public education, property taxes, and water rights. Attendees will also be welcome to bring up any other topics they see fit.
After the event in Wimberley, the two candidates will head to Austin for another event where attendees can grab a craft brew with them. Join us for beer and reception helping to support two amazing candidates.
Press is welcome to attend. Please reach out to either the Collier or Kling campaigns to make arrangements.
Per Collier, “I am excited to join Steven in Central Texas for two lively events. We will discuss issues that are affecting Texans in Senate District 25. Some are unique to the area, while others, such as property taxes and public school financing are troubling people all over the state. I look forward to doing what my opponent will not… listening to working Texans about what matters in their lives and how Texas can be better.”
Per Kling, “In that past four years Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and closest ally Sen. Donna Campbell have managed to give handouts to out-of-state corporations and wreck our public education system. Texans deserve better. No one knows these issues better than Mike Collier. He and I will work hard in the Texas Senate to rebuild our public education system, fix property taxes, and put and end to divide-and-conquer politics.”
Mike Collier is father, CPA, and Texas’ next Lt. Governor. Mike is ready to fix Texas’ broken property tax system, invest in public education, and expand access to healthcare. Find more about Mike at www.CollierForTexas.com
