Early Voting at Texas State University
5,700 more voters voted in first three days than the first three days of the 2016 general election

Hays County Commissioners voted today to reopen the polling location at the LBJ Student Center next week on November 1st and November 2nd from 7 AM to 7 PM. Additionally, an Election Day voting site will be added onsite at the University and it will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM as are other polling locations on Election Day. The Election Day polling site will be for Precinct 334.

Free rides to the polls
At the request of Hays County and the City of San Marcos, Capital Area Rural Transportation System (“CARTS”) is providing free bus service to and from polling places during early voting and on Election Day. People riding CARTS to their polling place are asked to tell the driver that they are going to the polls and will have their bus fares waived.
In addition, CARTS offers free rides to Texas State University students at any time, with presentation of a student ID.
