Take These Steps to Victory in 2008

Here is where the rubber meets the road. And we need you to help keep the wheels pointed in the direction of a Democratic victory in 2008!

We have kicked off the annual Fundraising Drive for the Hays County Democratic Party by offering the Steps to Victory in 2008 Plan.

If each Democrat in Hays County takes one, two, or all of these Steps, we will be well on our way, together, toward our goal of turning Hays County blue! Please choose to lend a financial hand to the effort. It will make it great in 2008!

STEP ONE
The Annual Sustaining Members Program - Become a Sustaining member for 2008/2009 year - $120.00 annually, payable in full or in quarterly or monthly installments. We can make it easy to donate by automatic draft of your bank account. Click here to find out how. Sustaining Members get a Dem Donkey Pin, a membership card, and acknowledgement on the website's Victory in 2008 Heroes Corner. Our Sustaining Members help keep the HCDP working for our Dem candidates and meet the requirements of our County and State Conventions and other field work.


STEP TWO
Become a Sponsor of the Annual LBJ Birthday Celebration and Fundraiser. This is the fundraising kick-off event for each year and a great way to support your "party" and have one too!


STEP THREE
Volunteer - Become a Virtual Office Team Member - Work for the HCDP from your home. All you need to help with phone work, registration of voters, helping get out the vote by mail, and many other GOTV tasks, is a computer with an internet connection and a telephone. Contact your Precinct Chair, or Community Club President for training nearest to you and for more information contact; Neva Lockett at coachneva@verizon.net or Gloria Whitehead at haysctydems@austin.rr.com


STEP FOUR
Host a Fundraiser for the HCDP - Host a function and help raise donations for the HCDP. Add a Dining with Dems event in your community - you provide the place and the refreshments. Or host a Games Night, or "Survivor on CBS" Watch Party, or a field trip to the country or a museum. Be creative and share your passion! Pass the hat for the HCDP or ask for a donation amount for the event. Get Democrats together for an event of "fun-raising".


To take Steps One or Two, visit our Donations page. When you send in your contribution, please indicate that you are participating in the Steps to Victory in 2008 Plan and which Step Number(s) you are taking.

To take Steps Three or Four, visit our Contact Us page. In the comments box, indicate which Step you are interested in taking and briefly describe how you would like to contribute. We will contact you ASAP.

All donors will be acknowledged on our Heroes Page and will receive an HCDP Donkey Lapel Pin.

Each one of you, please resolve to take a Step and contribute today to the HCDP's STEPS TO VICTORY IN 2008 Plan.
