Kyle-Buda Women Democrats

The Kyle-Buda Women Democrats, KBWD, is a newly formed [Jan. 2005] Democratic women's group in the Kyle and Buda area of Hays County. We are an informal group interested in following issues in state and federal goverment, particularly issues affecting women and families. You could say that covers just about every issue.

We would like to combine our knowledge and expertise with similar groups in the area that have the same goals. Right now, we're following legislation about education, foster care, women's health, and environmental issues. And we are very concerned about the war in Iraq and our aggresive foreign policy. We have some people in our group who are quite knowledgable in one or more of these areas.

We feel sure that by working together we can be more effective than if each group functions alone. If your group is interested in exchanging information, please contact us.
